Materials for printing on paper substrates can be saved in any graphics format: bitmap and vector.

These include for example: TIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, PSD lub EPS, PDF, AI, CDR.

For transparent substrates such as PP, PE, PET type film or metallized paper (silver and gold), the works should be prepared in a vector format, such as EPS, PDF, AI, CDR, with accompanying fonts.

On this types of substarates we use a white color groundprint so it is necessary to save it as a so-called spot color labeled with the name WHITE_INK, with the overprint option enabled.

Another method is to prepare it in a separate file, e.g. as a 100% black color (as in the case of selective lacquer in sheet printing).
